This 3 day clinic features 3 full days of bird work for you and your dog.  Your dog will work with another dog to enhance and solidify backing skills as well as present the handler with many opportunities for corrections that can arise from working with another dog. Bird work will take place in various places at and around Perfection Kennel.  We have access to over 3000 acres and will utilize that to give your dog more variations in terrain and location.  This clinic is geared towards Hunters, Trialers and Master Hunt Test participants who want to refine and improve their dogs training. Dogs in this clinic will need to be steady to wing or wing and shot upon arrival. Be prepared to walk a lot as we have two full days of birds, birds, and more birds.  Quail will be used for the broke dog clinic.
Jon specializes in working with pen raised birds and will take the time to explain the differences between working your dog on pen raised and wild birds. He will also teach you how to manage and maintain your dog on pen raised birds.  This is a crucial step in developing the young dog to its greatest potential.

Lunch will be provided daily and gives the group the opportunity to discuss philosophy and goals.

Perfection Kennel Clinic

The clinics are held at Perfection Kennel training grounds near Gallatin, Missouri.  Our training facility includes 1200 acres, twenty ponds, quail, homing pigeons, a dock and our PK staff.  Our clinics start 8 a.m. at the kennel and will be held rain or shine so be prepared. We will gather as a group before and after individual sessions.  Lunch and water will be provided each day. Camaraderie, fun and support is encouraged here at PK.

Auditors

Unlimited auditors are welcome at $50 per day -  lunch $7 per day for auditors

Amenities

RV's and Trailers are  welcome and we have a small RV park with hook ups on site.
